Job Description:
1. Triage incoming requests/alerts in a professional, courteous manner over the phone, email, and ticketing system.

2. Take ownership of tickets and manage them in a logical & methodical manner.

3. Log incidents/requests accurately, categorizing and prioritizing them in line with team procedures.

4. Conduct full & thorough diagnostics with end users to enable the first point of contact fault resolution.

5. Ensure all issues are adhered to within defined SLA’s – escalate to internal and external teams as necessary.

6. Manage tickets through their entire lifecycle from the first point of contact through to resolution, proactively communicate with the customer.

7. Identify and escalate repeat issues or service risks to 2nd level specialists.

8. Maintain & upgrade skills by proactively seeking learning opportunities.

9. Adhere to the shift roster maintained by the team manager.

Candidate Profile:
Skills:
1. Experience, working on Windows-based distributions.

2. Experience, working on any virtualization environment.

3. Exposure to Public/Private Cloud.

4. A keen interest in networking & WAN technology.

5.Proven hands-on experience providing helpdesk support.

6. Possess customer-centric mentality while troubleshooting issues.

7. Highly organized & able to work with minimal supervision.

8. Experience working with any ticketing & monitoring tool is a plus.

9. ITIL process knowledge is a plus.
