Description:
Basic Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's Degree in computer science or a related field
2. At least 2+ years work experience in a related field
3. Demonstrated proficiency with Java, C++, or similar modern programming languages
4. Solid expertise in data structures and algorithms
5. Experience with relational and non-relational databases such as Oracle or DynamoDB
6. Obsession with quality, operational excellence, and customer experience
7. Experience and willingness to mentor more junior engineers and help them develop their skills and leadership abilities
8. Experience designing, building and deploying scalable, highly-available systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Master’s Degree in Computer Science/Math or related field
2. Experience leading and/or managing efforts in a distributed systems environment
3. Proven experience simplifying business processes into automated technical solutions
4. Strong written and verbal communication skills
5. Ability to excel in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.
